I have written several short stories. My first entitled, "Twenty-Four Hours of Perfection." I got the idea
due to a fantasy of mine. I base most of my stories on songs. The story was inspired by the Britney Spears song,
"Born To Make You Happy." My secind short story was "Strength To Carry On." It has to deal with a guys boyfriend
being a POW and his return. The story was inspired by the song, "For Your Love" by Jessica Simpson. My third story, "Within Your Reach,"
has to deal with a senior prom held at the infamous Reichen House. The story was based on the song, "Anytime" by
Kelly Clarkson. My fourth story was "Silent Tears" no song was used to inspire this story. It just has to do with
Erin being caught knowing that her friends, Alexander and Ryan love each other. The twist is, they don't know
it. I am currently working on a book entitled "The Heart Stripe" which I hope to begin writing soon now that
the prewriting stage has finished for me.
I graduated high school in June of 2004. When I was in high school I attended Bethlehem Area Vocational-Technical
School at the Banana Factory where I took Video & Media Arts. My teacher, Mr. Rivas and I are still on good
terms and I go up to the Banana Factory every once in a while to visit. While I was there I did various
video productions. My first being on my former gym teacher, Amy Fontno. My second production I did was on Liz
Magno, an artist at the Banana Factory. I won an award for my third production. The production had to deal with
my writing and how it changed the gay stereotype. My friends Jennalyn Mules and Melinda Scheel helped with the interviews.
My last two project were for the Bridges award where Jennalyn and I went up to Northampton High School. We filmed four
students. I was assigned Tonia Biechey and Elizabeth Barbati. Jennalyn had Melissa Keenhold and April Hujsa.
The productions came out well.
I have worked for four places in the past. I began my work at Giant Food Stores in September 2002. I
quit due to discrimination in March of 2003. I then worked at Walter's Park Pool from June of 2003 to August of 2003.
I left due to seasonal hire. I began work at K-Mart in August of 2003 and was fired in December of 2003 only two
days after my birthday due to absences. I started working for the Express-Times in July of 2004 and finished there
in May of 2005.
Reality television has had a great impact on my life. I began watching "Survivor" with "Survivor: The Australian
Outback" and have been a loyal follower since. I began watching "The Amazing Race" in the summer of 2003 where
I rooted for married gay couple Reichen & Chip. It was so important to me that they win the the race, and I was
granted that wish.
On May 10th I left to Red Rock, Pennsylvania to attend Job Corps. There I studied Business Technology and Hotel
Management. I am currently doing an internship at the Hampton Inn in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
I will continue my studies at Northampton Community College in the Fall.
